Lift the Wings Lyrics

Lift the Wings from Riverdance, one of my favorite pieces. I found this genuine Lisa Kelly version which feels quite different from the Riverdance 1997 version. I’ve edited an .lrc file as follows. Use Minilyrics(freeware) or TTPlayer(also freeware) to view the lyrics synchronously as you listen to the music.

[00:03.28]Lift the Wings
[00:10.60]Lisa Kelly
[00:18.23]Lisa
[00:33.68]
[00:52.09]
[01:02.51]
[01:08.07]How can the small flowers grow
[01:13.07]If the wild winds blow
[01:16.76]And the cold snow is all around?
[01:22.88]Where will the frail birds fly
[01:27.89]If their homes on high
[01:31.70]Have been torn down to the ground
[01:36.64]
[01:38.51]Lift the wings
[01:40.56]That carry me away from here and
[01:44.75]Fill the sail
[01:47.81]That breaks the line to home
[01:51.13]But when I’m miles and miles
[01:55.50]apart from you
[02:00.55]I’m beside you when I think of you
[02:04.99]a Stoirin, a Gra
[02:15.56]
[02:16.12]How can a tree stand tall
[02:21.18]If a rain won’t fall
[02:24.87]To wash its branches down?
[02:30.88]How can a heart survive?
[02:35.94]Can it stay alive
[02:39.13]If its love’s denied for long
[02:45.75]
[02:46.57]Lift the wings
[02:48.88]That carry me away from here and
[02:53.19]Fill the sail
[02:56.13]That breaks the line to home
[02:59.45]But when I’m miles and miles
[03:03.82]apart from you
[03:09.01]I’m beside you when I think of you
[03:13.26]a Stoirin
[03:15.00]
[03:17.01]And I’m with you as I dream of you
[03:20.45]a Stoirin
[03:24.27]And this song will bring me near to you
[03:27.89]a Stoirin
[03:31.39]a Gra
[03:39.15]
[04:04.29]Ah~
